So…In Search of the Grass is an album I’d made awhile ago. At the time, I was preoccupied with the differences between modern and natural life. If that sounds a bit pretentious/preposterous, you’re probably on the right track. Nevertheless, I was 20. And, this is the sort of thing that was weighing on me.

In an effort to make sense of my concerns, I did some interviews on the subject and edited them together with a piece of music that I’d recorded once with digital gear, once with analog instruments, and once with found objects. Basically, it’s three different takes on the same set of ideas.

The album’s available on iTunes–over to the right. But, I’m not sure that it’s the sort of thing folks would listen to more than once. Also, I think the album’s probably more interesting in theory than execution.

So, I posted a streaming version below, for the folks who are interested in hearing the album–but don’t necessarily need to own a copy. Check it out, if you like.

Thanks either way.
